Description

Lovely quality vintage book grabber or picker. Nice deep patina and wear from use consistent with age. Fully functional and would make a great addition to any library or study in the right setting. I believe it to be late 19th Century / Early 20th Century and made from beech wood and brass.

The item is 35 inches long and in good condition.
It has a sprung steel mechanism to operate the grabbing claw and is a totally original example.
